Often when involved in a car accident people do not know what the next steps are. This week we sat down and talked to Zeb Weeks who is a personal injury attorney just down the road at Flickinger, Boulton, Gooch, Robson.
A little bit about Zeb Weeks is that he was a professor at all 3 BYU’s in Idaho and his wife eventually got tired of the constant jumping around. At that point, he decided to look more at getting into law. He has been in law dealing with personal injury for about 6 years now.
I’ve worked with him for quite a while and he’s really good at what he does so we are taking an opportunity to ask him some of the questions I get from my patients that have been in a car accident.
Some of the questions we go over in the interview:
- What do you do after you have been in a car accident?
- Should I go see a doctor after the accident?
- What is an “at fault” state?
- If I seek medical care, does that raise my insurance rates?
- When do I need to talk to an attorney?
- Do I have to pay for the attorney?
- Do I have to sue someone to get my bills from the accident paid?
